Husband's Love your Wife as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25)

Updated: Jun 21, 2020

Wives need more support than asked for often times. Wives carry the weight of the family on her own; emotionally, mentally and spiritually in most cases. It's not enough for the man to be present, but he must also be mentally and emotionally available to his wife consistently. It's the husband's responsibility to ensure that the wife is emotionally secure within the marriage, for it is the husband that sets the tone for the marriage. Any insufficiencies within the marriage, he is able to work them out completely being the head and not the tail of the team. The husband recognizes and points out the values of each family member and expounds on them.

When the man becomes married, he puts on the new self. (Colossians. 3:19) "Husbands love your wives & do not be harsh with them." (1 Timothy 3:2) "Faithful to his wife, able to teach, sober-minded, not a drunkard & gentle." (Genesis 2:24) " Leaves his mother/father & to hold fast to his wife." (Proverbs 31:28) "Her husband praises her & calls her blessed."

Marriage is a covenant of faithfulness, where 2 become 1 & where the husband places the wife's needs before his parents. The wife is his best friend. Husband's, we need you second to God, you are the priest of your home & the family depends on your strength daily. We need you to not only be present, but be active.
